Open Knowledge Maps is a visual search engine that displays a topical overview for your search query based on relevant documents from a database of published papers. It is a tool for evidence-based knowledge management and discovery of scientific knowledge. It is also an open infrastructure that shares its source code, content and data under an open license and collaborates with the open discovery community.
BASE is one of the world's most voluminous search engines especially for academic web resources. BASE provides more than 240 million documents from more than 8,000 content providers. You can access the full texts of about 60% of the indexed documents for free (Open Access). BASE is operated by Bielefeld University Library.
Semantic Scholar is an artificial-intelligence backed search engine for academic publications that was developed at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence and publicly released in November 2015.
